I've been enjoying your blog. Before you get too far along with Blogger, you may want to consider having a look at Wordpress -- http://wordpress.org/
The interface is cleaner and more customizable, you can organize your posts by category, and the comment spam filtering is great.
It's also free and reasonably easy to integrate Wordpress into your website, if your webhosting service is reasonably tool savvy - so your blog could be: http://www.butzi.net/blog/
